Introducing the Breakers UPF50+ Sand-Resistant Hoodie: made from a soft, lightweight, sun protecting fabric with a durable Brutus the Bear logo. Our unique knitting technique achieves a powerful UPF 50+ rating, providing elite sun protection without harsh chemicals. Unlike your standard cotton tees (UPF value of around 10), our hoodie blocks UVA and UVB rays effectively (UPF value of around 80) ideal for all-day outdoor activities. On top that, know that even if it gets buried in a sandcastle... a few shakes and you'll be sand free!

    Great lightweight hoodie

    I bought for my husband who has had several skin graft surgeries due to melanoma. He now has to take precautions when out in the sun. He loves the feel, the lightweight material, and the overall fit. It’s not boxy like most seem to be when you’re looking for an SPF50 shirt. He had me go back and buy the other colors as well.

    Comfort and style

    This hoodie achieves ideal balance. It’s not too heavy and not too thin. The material is comfortable and stretchy. Wore it the other day when it was lightly raining, and it dried quickly. I like the mauve color as something different you don’t often see as an option.
