Catch waves in one of California’s most iconic surf destinations. Huntington Beach, also known as Surf City USA, is home to long stretches of sandy shoreline, consistent swells, and a laid-back surf scene that welcomes all levels.
Rent a surfboard and head straight to the water. We’re located just steps from Sunset Beach, where mellow waves make it ideal for beginners. Looking for more of a challenge? Bolsa Chica and the Huntington Beach Pier are just a short drive away and offer faster breaks for experienced surfers.
Choose from soft-top boards for easy learning or hard-top boards for more control and performance. Each rental includes your board and leash, and wetsuits are available upon request.

Huntington Beach Surfboard Rentals
We offer a range of beginner soft-top surfboards from 6 to 9 feet long, as well as performance surfboards for intermediate and advanced surfers. Stop by the shop to pick one up, we’re just a few blocks up from the beach. Huntington Beach is a perfect break for beginners.
Beginner Surfers: For beginner surfers, we recommend renting a soft-top surfboard. The soft construction is more forgiving in the water, and the larger size of the board provides more stability for easier paddling and standing.
Intermediate and Advanced Surfers: Our performance foam boards are built with rugged closed-cell foam, which enables the performance of a glassed board with the durability of a foamie. These performance boards are wax-free and stress-free, and are more sensitive to rider input.

Not interested in surfing or kayaking? Grab a boogie board and have some fun in the waves. No experience is required. Boogie boards are great for all ages, especially if it’s one of your first times out in the ocean. Stop by the shop and grab one any time!
