We launch directly from our private beach access at 11th Street Beach, making it easy to get on the water. You’ll get a quick kayaking lesson before you head out, no experience necessary.

Paddle through peaceful harbor channels with views of luxury homes, docked boats, and nearby wildlife. You’re right next to the Seal Beach National Wildlife Refuge and Hog Island, so don’t be surprised if you spot sea birds or the occasional curious seal.

All renters must be able to swim comfortably. Kayak rentals are available for guests ages 5 and up, and include all gear.

Huntington Beach Kayak Rentals FAQ

We've had tons of people who have never kayaked before and don't know how to swim that had amazing experiences. However, if your activity includes snorkeling, then by state regulations you do need to be comfortable in the water.
We use tandem sit-on-top kayaks because they are safer and more fun!
The weight limit for each kayak is 425lbs / 193kg. If the combined weight of you and your partner is close to 415lbs, we recommend purchasing two (2) single kayaks instead of a tandem kayak.
The age restriction for kayaking is 5 years and older.

    2 person kayak rental which was a great deal for a wonderful experience! Short walk from the store to the beach. The coves and cliffs were gorgeous, and you can get decently close to lots of sea lions on the shore.
