Private Stand Up Paddle Board Surf Lessons

Surfing’s more laid back friend, stand up paddle boarding, is ideal for all skill levels and the calm waters of the La Jolla Shores is a great spot to learn! Our experienced instructors will teach you the basics of paddle boarding and ocean safety on land, before taking you into the water to have fun and catch some waves! No experience necessary, all equipment included.

Our instructors respect each student’s choice regarding his or her level of participation in the lesson, and comfort in the water.

  • We're newbies to Stand up Paddleboarding, but the crew at Everyday California made us feel like pros!
    They welcome everyone with open arms, and build a trust with all customers. They take you round back, show you a map of the beach and best spots to peruse while out on the ocean. Since the SUP boards are massive, they built some genius dollies to help transport your gear over to the beach.

    He showed us the ropes around SUP on dry land and didn't leave us out of his sight as we were paddle boarding in the ocean for the first time. Thanks again for this awesome experience!

    This was my first time paddle boarding (SUP). I had a private lesson with Janek who was very professional, thorough and patient with me. I had so much fun and actually was able to stand up on the board! Everyone was very professional and friendly in the shop as well. Thank you for a great experience.
