Mount SOLEDAD, THE HIGHEST PEAK ON THE COAST OF SAN DIEGO, IS A GREAT PLACE TO GET AN UNOBSTRUCTED VIEW OF SAN DIEGO (ESPECIALLY WHEN THE SUN SETTING).

With an almost uninterrupted 360 view, you can see all the view north to dana point, all the way south to mexico and if you look east, you can see the mountains in east country, san Diego. The top of Mount Soledad capped by large concrete cross to memorialize the loses suffered in the Korean War.Surrounding the munuoment are plenty of benches, and expensive grass lawn perfect



Fun Fact : Mount Soledad is easily visible from our kayak tours in the cove, and we often use Mt. Soledad as unit of measurement!. Our underwater canyon in the La jolla Ecological Reserve is about double the height of Mt. Soledad.
